Battlefield Tour : 9-19 April 2020

This opportunity is by invitation from 3016 Calgary Highlanders RCACC (Airdrie).

Cadets from 3125 Calgary Highlanders RCACC (Chestermere) wishing to participate in this trip need to speak with the Commanding Officer (Capt Fong) and obtained her nomination. Parents of cadets who are interested are REQUIRED to attend meetings held in Airdrie and (parents and cadets) are expected to participate in 80% of fundraisers held for this trip.

What are some things to consider ...
  1. Individual needs to an ACTIVE member on the cadet corps at the time of travel.
  2. Individual needs to have a current passport at the time of travel (expired date is no less than 6 months after return date).
  3. ALL travelers (cadets & officers) are able to cover 100% of their own cost.
    • Individuals are to register with EF Tours under the trip group (code is provided once commitment shown) and make payments towards the trip.
    • Post all fundraising for the trip, $10,000 will be held as contingency fund, additional funds above that amount will be divided among the travelers by the elected committee.
    • Upon return, what remain from the $10K contingency fund will be divided within 30 days of return to Canada.
  4. Regular meetings will be held leading up to the trip, parents are strongly encouraged to attend these for up-to-date information.
  5. ALL travelers must adhere to the Cadets Organization / Canadian Armed Forces regulations on Alcohol/Drug/Smoking.
  6. What happens if an individual 'drops out' prior to departure?
    • This will follow EF Tours guideline for cancellations. The initial administration fee is non refundable.
  7. Bronze level fitness is recommend.  There will be A LOT of walking!!
