What is happening in our training?

Attached is a recruiting poster, please circulate to assist in recruiting and bring in any interested individuals to our parade nights. (Note : Cadets joining after Dec 31, 2019 might not be considered for summer training.
Saturday, 7 Sept 2019 - 30th Annual Chestermere Country Fair parade
Wednesday, 11 Sept 2019 - Fall Energizer (Recruiting)

Friday - Sunday, 20-22 Sept 2019 - Biv Tech FTX
18-20 Oct 2019 - Silver Star Expedition (Mandatory for level qualification) Cadets going will be given the details at a later date

Being in cadets is one of the many great ways to fulfill the requirements in the different levels of "The Duke of Edinburgh's Award".
"RCACC 3125 Calgary Highlanders" is an Award Unit you can join while on your journey. Please speak with Capt Fong for more information.

What is happening with our Unit Support Group?

All parents and/or guardians of an active cadets are members of our Unit Support Group, which is the primary support for the corps day-to-day operation. Please attend the monthly meetings to receive the latest updates and information, to voice your concerns and opinion, and help drive the changes you want you to see.
What is happening with our League?
The Army Cadet League (Southern Zone) will be at this year's GlobalFest, and is offering a discount code for family and friends online. Try "armycdt2019" and/or "VOLUNTEER"
Cookbooks for sell. Each book costs: $20.00. This cookbook is dedicated to the late Joanne Nilsson for her dedication and hard work on behalf of the League. Orders can be phoned to Dwayne Thomas at 403-462-0240. Cookbooks can be paid for and pick up at GlobalFest.
The next ACL Southern Zone meeting is on September 21, 2019. All is welcome, attached is the meeting schedule for 2019-2020

- Location : Camp Chestermere
- Time : 19:00 - 21:00 hours
- Order of Dress : appropriate civilian clothing
- For returning cadets, a parent and/or guardian is requested to accompany the cadet in to complete the annual validation process.Please note this is mandatory prior to your cadet being allowed on training outside our LHQ nights, such as the FTX in September.
Saturday, 7 Sept 2019 - 30th Annual Chestermere Country Fair parade
- Location : Chestermere Middle School bus loop (128 W Lakeview Dr)
- Time : 8:00 am - 11:00 am (approx. timing) Parade starts at 9:30am
- A more defined arrival time slot will be announced closer to date.
- Drop off at Chestermere Middle School / Pick up at The Recreation Centre
- Order of Dress : Full Dress Uniform
- Eat breakfast prior and bring a water bottle if needed
