Message Major Randy Fisher, Officer in Charge Southern Alberta (Calgary)
ALCON
1. This year is shaping up to be very busy and we need maximum support and participation from as many cadet corps and squadrons as possible to make this activity a success.
2. Stampede Tent: This year we will once again have our stampede tent set up and we will need some highly motivated, engaging and enthusiastic volunteers to promote the cadet program. Not just an single elemental program, this is a PR event not a recruiting event, so there are benefits to the entire cadet program. Our goal is to encourage participation regardless of element or program.
3. To that end, Capt Vanderlee is looking for everyone’s assistance in making this happen. Here is how you can help.
4. Currently we have There are 32% of cadet spots filled currently. There are 0% of ADULT SPOTS filled currently.
5. If you’re interested you can connect via facebook as per para 7 or follow this link:

6. All three of our league partners are actively engaged and supportive of this event this year, so we just need your full support and backing.
7. Capt Vanderlee’s message is as follows:
Do you have cadets who are ambassadors for the program? Do they bring their friends to join in? Are they outgoing?
Then we need them this summer.
Once again with the support of 3Division and the Regional Cadet Support Unit, the cadets of southern Alberta are invited to participate in a fully sanctioned activity during the 11 days of Stampede.
We're looking for Air, Army and Sea Cadets as well as Navy League Cadets and screened adult volunteers.
Joining instructions will be mailed out to volunteers as they book their shifts. Cadets who sign up for three shifts or more will receive a full pass for the Stampede grounds for the full run of the activity.
Questions can be sent to Captain Rob VanderLee (Coordinator) 403 609 1296 or rvanderl@telusplanet.net
There are 63 Positions for cadets, 21 for Navy League Cadets as well as positions for the League volunteers (being coordinated through the Leagues)
We're looking forward to filling all the positions with keen and eager cadets!
