Directive on Social Media

Good Evening Everyone,

A directive has been passed from the Chief of Defense Staff with regards to social media. Effective immediately:

1. All photos of cadets or officers in uniform are to be removed or made private
2. Any friend requests from people that are unknown to your cadet or are suspicious to you should be reported to us
3. Set profiles security settings to "Friends Only"
4. Remove any reference to the Canadian Forces or the Canadian Cadet Movement from your profile (IE: Work History, Networks)

The same set of rules has been implemented to the facebook page and website. This means that the 3125 Facebook Page has been UNPUBLISHED. We will continue to use the website.

This is a precautionary measure in order to insure the safety of all cadets and members of the Canadian Forces. Please work with your cadet to insure this happens.
